As Senior National Manager of Strategic Partners – Healthcare at the American College of Education (ACE), Karilyn Van Oosten works collaboratively with healthcare systems, community colleges, and workforce leaders nationwide to design and expand strategic partnerships that respond directly to community and employer needs. Her work is rooted in deep collaboration—bringing together hospital executives, academic leaders, and frontline clinicians to co-create affordable, flexible educational pathways that enable nurses to advance their education without leaving the workforce.

By aligning ACE’s academic programs with real-time workforce challenges, Karilyn partners with healthcare organizations to address nursing shortages and intentionally expand pathways for nurses to become educators and leaders—creating a multiplier effect that strengthens the long-term healthcare talent pipeline. Her collaborative approach focuses on building sustainable, scalable solutions that bridge education and industry, ensuring equitable access to advancement opportunities while advancing ACE’s mission and supporting the communities’ healthcare organizations serve.
